Loaiza21
I think we really can gain some ground today. We can jump ahead into 2nd with Minnesota facing Freddy Garcia when they are pitching Rick Reed. We also have to hope Kris Wilson and his 4.99 ERA is outdone by Tim Hudson. If we get 5 back we have a chance of overtaking 1st place the next time we play Kansas City. We just cannot afford to get back any further than we are now.

rafacosta
Garcia going today....i think Min will crush him with all that LH hitters. I'm starting to get worried with the Twinkies...5 win in a row agst 2 great teams from the West Coast.
Loaiza21
Jumping ahead of Minnesota today is big. Because if they start winning against the Royals, the White Sox would be gaining if they win and would be ahead of Minnesota trying to capture KC and not the Twins. The Royals play the Kittens while we play the Rays. So it's time to gain some ground.
Harry Chappas
The eigth inning of last nights game to me said it all. Not to be overly negative but if not for a base running blunder the Tribe could've taken the lead. Then in the bottom of the inning the at-bats of Ordonez and Everett were pathetic. They looked like they wanted to get out of there (2 K's on ALL strikes that were not even close.) Then Lee, well that looked like a guy on the take. The difference between the Twins and Royals and the Sox are that the other two play to win, we playing assuming we are entitled to win just by showing up. Where was Alomar on that pop-up to right? I agree we can gain ground but not sure we should look past the Tribe today.

Jordan4life_2003
Like I always say. I try and not worry with what other teams r doin. Just focus on this team for now. Our moment of truth will come when we play the Royals and Twins. The Twins r playin good baseball right now as are the Royals. As far as me feeling good cause the M's r gonna face Garcia...The Twins beat Mulder, Hudson, And Zito in their last series.. Just focus on our guys people... Spiff
Kris Wilson is 5-0 with a 4.99 era. How messed up is that.
