elrockinMT
QUOTE (hometeamfan @ Jul 12, 2009 -> 08:35 PM) One tough inning for Danks....many borderline pitches in the first. Two hits after that. Think its coincidence that it was a matchup of game 163? Have you ever seen Danks walk four in a row? Just saying....little suspect. I did make mention of that myself yesteray in a POST. Even the Twins announcers on the radio said they thought Danks was getting really squeezed by the umpire
shipps
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 12, 2009 -> 03:37 PM) Don't look at Allen's OPS so far in AAA for Az I wont. If Allen turns out to be an allstar in a couple years than I will look back and say damn that didnt work out. But I am not going to spend thew next few years weighing everyday numbers to see if the trade worked out.

I think it's more important that we turn around and trade Dotel for a solid package.

Dick Allen
White Sox looking at Halladay? There's a good chance White Sox general manager Ken Williams is looking into Roy Halladay, though in an e-mail he wrote, "I don't kiss and tell." Williams recently traded for Arizona reliever Tony Pena, and it might be he can trim payroll by dealing closer Bobby Jenks, who makes $5.6 million and appears to be in demand. Balta1701
QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Jul 12, 2009 -> 01:36 PM) I am not cause that will just drive your baseball mind crazy. Whats done is done and trades are a roll of the dice most of the time. But you can always check the weight of the dice first too see if they're obviously rigged against you. elrockinMT
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 12, 2009 -> 08:42 PM) Another RBI for Beckham. If Crede robbed him there, we would have never heard the end of it. Crede is a better fielder for sure, but I am so impressed with GB and his hitting and his effort at thr hot corner. It isn't his fault he was thrust into that role at 3B

Crede just completely half-assed a pretty routine grounder, and people make it sound like nothing gets past him.

iamshack
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 12, 2009 -> 03:48 PM) He had a plane to catch. Yeah, saw that in your last post that said "He had a plane to AZ to catch." In other notes, I wouldn't mind dealing Jenks to get the prospects to get Halladay, but I want no part of any trade that includes Gordo...
