maggsmaggs
Lineup 3B-Chone Figgins (L-My best guess at a FA signing) CF-Jordan Danks (L) RF-Carlos Quenetin ® 1b-Konerko (R-I figure maybe they sign him to a 2-year deal after his current deal is over) C-Tyler Flowers ® SS-Alexei Ramirez ® 2B-Gordon Beckham ® DH-Dayan Viciedo (R, good chance he isn't ready yet, but this was hard enough, so just placed him there) LF-Jared Mitchell (L) Rotation 1. Buehrle 2. Floyd 3. Danks 4. Poreda 5. Hudson I really struggled with firstbase, but figuring he could very well be the best option, I kept Paul there in two years. Let's hear yours... danman31
That lineup would struggle a lot.
fathom
I like these threads, but of all organizations, we should know that prospects don't always pan out. I'll say right now that I bet either Mitchell or JorDanks won't make it as an everyday starter with the Sox.
southsider2k5
Knowing Kenny Williams, nothing will remain that static
lostfan
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 12, 2009 -> 11:45 PM) Knowing Kenny Williams, nothing will remain that static Yeah I was going to say that. No way all of our prospects break in at the majors with the Sox.
BearSox
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 12, 2009 -> 11:04 PM) One of my favorite things to do when I'm bored is to find threads like these from 2003, when Sweeney-Anderson-Reed were going to patrol the OF for the next 10 years, Kris Honel was going to be pitching behind Buehrle, and Royce Ring was going to be closing soon. If the Sox can get major league production from two of Flowers, Mitchell, Carter, Hudson, and Danks, it's a huge success. Or major league players from them. Not to mention how much of a turnover in the everyday players there is for the Sox. I would be willing to bet that at least 10 of the 25 men on the roster on the Opener for 2011 are not on the roster today.
