Reinsdorf pulls his bid. Some bid from the NHL is now on the table for the Coyotes.

You know, I don't know why they just don't allow Ballsillie to purchase the team. It is by far the best offer, and Hamilton is leaps and bounds a better city than Phoenix. That team should never have been moved from Winnipeg. I really wish some group from Hartford would jump in and make a bid.

One of two things has to happen. Either Glendale needs to renogtiate that contract, or the team needs to move to somewhere it can be financially viable.

Hmmmmmmmmm, maybe Winnipeg?

The Jets should never have been moved. The NHL is now paying for the overreaction to Canadian economics in the 90s and their eagerness to expand to areas that don't support hockey. (Oddly enough, Nashville enjoys the game, but that's because the Preds successfully marketed it as a fight-first/hockey 2nd game for the first few years to draw those hillbillies in!!)

Wow, San Jose just became really really sick.

ESPN.com is reporting that the Ottawa Senators have traded Dany Heatley to San Jose in a three team deal.

The Sharks will send Patrick Marleau to the Los Angeles Kings and the Kings will send Jarret Stoll and Alexander Frolov to Ottawa in the reported deal. The General Managers for all three teams have denied the report.

Phil Kessel traded to Toronto for their #1 and #2 picks in the 2010 draft and their #1 in the 2011 draft.

Kessel then signed a 5-year, $27 million deal with the Leafs.

21 years old, 36 goals last season, but with a much better team.

I'm sure he'll score for them, but scoring wasn't really their problem last year. They were 10th in the league in goals for, but dead last in goals against.

Whoa. Hadnt heard anything about that. Did he just get hurt or is it from an old recurring injury??

This was on the Hawks' Facebook page:

The following statement was issued today by Chicago Blackhawks Head Team Physician Dr. Michael Terry:“Adam Burish went into the boards on Sunday night in Minnesota and injured his right knee".
