LittleHurt05
QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 7, 2010 -> 01:00 PM) Blackhawks need to get Ryan Miller. Maybe we shoulda sent Kaner back home to Buffalo in exchange for Miller. I wonder if either side would be willing to do that deal. This team is like the Bears Super Bowl team. You completely dominate your opposition but the player at the most important position does everything he can to blow it. The Capitals have goalie issues as well but Theodore/Varlamov is far superior to Huet/Niemi.

whitesoxfan101
I have faith that the goalie clusterf*** will be addressed this summer. That doesn't do us too much right now though, and trade Kaner for Ryan Miller? Huh?
MexSoxFan#1
Wow, 5 goals in one period is ridiculous.
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Mar 7, 2010 -> 11:16 PM) Wow, 5 goals in one period is ridiculous. Yeah, and on 10 shots too. A 50 shooting percentage is lousy defense in basketball, let alone hockey. Edited March 8, 2010 by whitesoxfan101
maggsmaggs
The free agent list isn't that impressive next year as far as goalies after Nabakov: Turco, Theodore, Toskala, Mason (Chris), Dan Ellis and Emery. You gotta think Nabakov will go back to San Jose if he decides to take less money for a better chance to win, but who knows maybe he doesn't like San Jose that much. I would love to sign him to a two-year deal worth Huet's remaining contract. Send Huet to Rockford and eat his salary, but clear the cap space. Hopefully Nabakov sees how cool Chicago is to play in and would take a nice discount.
The Critic
Just a heads-up: CSN Chicago is showing a Blackhawks vs North Stars playoff game from the 80's right now. 3-2 Hawks near the end of the 1st period.

Yeah, its 1985 and its pretty cool. Four future coaches and two future GMs in uniform. Edited March 9, 2010 by PlaySumFnJurny

bigklita
I'm going to the Hurricanes-Penguins game on Thursday night while I'm on spring break down in Raleigh. Should be good to see Crosby and Malkin live.

ChiSox_Sonix
Matt Cooke is a piece of s***. Players like him make me despise Gary Bettman even more for the stupid new instigator rules.

Balta1701
QUOTE (JoeBatterz @ Mar 10, 2010 -> 11:38 AM) This would be cool to see for other sporting events in other locations as well. With the state of water infrastructure in this country, I'd be surprised if there were many cities that collected enough digital information to record those trends. Nyx81
Jim Cornelison singing the National Anthem is amazing. He does such a fine job. I would have liked to see/hear him sing opera. burish

whitesoxfan101
Hawks have played a very good first 15 minutes overall, but you'd swear they don't practice 5 on 3 situations with how they look in them. They've had a number of extended 5 on 3's this year, particularly in recent games, that have gone empty. That's unacceptable in general, but especially with the skill the Hawks have. He was having some turnover issues before the Olympic Break, and they've continue to a degree since coming back from it. I'm not too concerned yet though. knightni
Looks like they found Crosby's glove and stick from the Olympic Final. They were misplaced, not stolen.
Steve9347
Niemi stepped up, big time. I loved Kaner's attempt at a Savvy special. Niemi starts the next game, gotta create confidence. LOVED THAT GAME.
