Leonard Zelig
Can anybody clarify this stuff for me? From what I understand: There is whey protein which you would use as a meal replacement/supplement to increase your protein intake. And there is also whey isolate which is something completely different that you take after a workout to help your body recover. Is this correct? Sometimes when people say they take whey, I do not know which kind they are talking about.
maggsmaggs
QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 12:45 PM) GNC Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60, been taking it for 8 months now. It says 3 scoops per serving, but 60g of protein is overkill all at once and you'll blow throught it quick. So I usually have one shake with 1 scoop in the morning, and then same thing right after my workout. I really enjoy using this stuff and have seen pretty good gains, and still havent plateaued yet really. I just started using this stuff as well. 3 scroops is WAY too much for one serving, IMO. But I like the taste and it has very few metals as compared to other powders (which is really something to look out for).
