Brian
QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 15, 2009 -> 09:28 AM) it's now 15 years after probably the greatest american documentary they is http://tinyurl.com/ydxcjv8 I haven't watched it in awhile. I need to with high school basketball starting in a week or so. I remember the outcry when it wasn't even nominated for Best documentary and it should of been at least nominated for Best Picture. MHizzle85
QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 15, 2009 -> 09:28 AM) it's now 15 years after probably the greatest american documentary they is http://tinyurl.com/ydxcjv8 One of my favorite movies ever. I've easily watched this at least 23 times. They did a screening on my campus a couple of weeks back (I believe with Q & A w/ the director). ThunderBolt
Anyone else a big P.T. Anderson fan? I saw Boogie Nights for the first time last night which cemented him for me as one of the better directors working today. If that wasn't already clear from There will Be Blood, Punch Drunk Love, and Magnolia.
BigSqwert
Watched The Girlfriend Experience over the weekend. Soderbergh chose adult film star Sasha Grey as the female lead. Pretty good film although I must say it was very weird to to see her in one of her "typical" films after seeing that (Downloaded one of her flicks the next day). It was like watching a friend doing a porn.

Brian
Holy crap, "Up" Was phenominal. One of the best of the year. Even I teared up a time or two. With the expansion to 10 movies nominated for Best of the Year at Oscars, there is no excuse it shouldn't be nominated IMO.

I was like "How was the movie?" and she goes "It was the best movie I have ever seen. There was a standing ovation before and after the movie". Im like " uuuuuuu what? Ok" My wife said she didnt like it when she watched it with my daughter, and my daughter was so offended. She says "Mom has gots no style in movies!"
