JPN366
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 24, 2009 -> 08:50 PM) Yeah, well. . . , NTSC is actually 29.97 fps, and not 30. So There!! The old-school A/V guys always joke about the quality of broadcast NTSC, and they say it stands for "Never The Same Color". Where I work, we broadcast around the world, so to monitor international feeds, we have to convert PAL into NTSC. It all looks hideous anyway. The Domestic HD feed launching on 12/8 is just a pathetic upconversion.

I enjoyed V for Vendetta, but there were still parts in that movie that pissed me off Should it be the Wachowski siblings now?

But seriously I could only watch like 10 minutes before I turned off Speed Racer. What the fcuk was that?
Kyyle23
yeah, it was the same with V for Vendetta, they produced, McTeigue directed. Their fingerprints are all over it and Speed Racer was just one big CG mess. Honestly, I am just about done with the movies that are 100 percent greenscreen. I am ready for Avatar to suck bigtime for that reason alone. I wasnt a big fan of 300 or Sin City for that reason, and SpeedRacer just gave me an ulcer. knightni
Having seen the movie before reading the graphic novel, I like the movie; but, I can also see why Alan Moore got pissed about the adaptation as the novel got ripped apart.
Kyyle23
i just read through Alan Moore's wikipedia, that man has quite a chip on his shoulder because of Hollywood. Some of it rightfully so(testifying for plagurizing League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was just nuts) other not so much(being against Joel Silver for V for Vendetta and Watchmen. David Lloyd himself agreed they sold the rights knowing full well what was going to happen). Its a shame that Hollywood couldnt treat a guy like that right
