I'm not gonna freak out the first time Wise starts in place of him, cause it would be against a right hander, but they aren't gonna platoon. Princess Dye Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Wise can pinch run. last year his ph stats gave at least some indication that he can grab a bat cold and PH I wanna throw those two things in there but will not participate in an argument b/c obviously the guy has had a horrible offensive year. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Wise play in lots of games against righties. It would be immeasurably stupid, but having Wise on the roster at all is immeasurably stupid and we do that. Its not about any sort of logical argument. At all. Its a personal thing - some combination of not liking BA's attitude, or Ozzie liking Wise, or whatever. Everybody knew TCQ was going to be back. I also assumed our organization had an ounce of sense and would keep Anderson around and DFA Wise.
