southsideirish71
QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 22, 2009 -> 08:13 PM) gameday shows both pitch 1 and 3 as within the strike zone laz diaz is a terrible umpire and ive thought that for a few years Laz and Merriweather back to back is a bad. SoxFan1
We've gotta have on of the sexiest 7-8-9's in the league right now with Quentin/Getz/Beckham.
Rowand44
Carlos Torres could not have impressed me more to this point. And I'm not talking about his stuff but he seems like he's got it together mentally on the mound, which most of the guys we call up midseason(pitchers wise) never, ever seemed to have. And I'm calling a TCQ homer this inning. Book it.

fathom
Shields is just hitting his spots, and Tampa sure seems to have a good scouting report on our hitters. Definitely not the time for our offense to go into a funk.
Heads22
You know what I was thinking? That it'd be f***ing great to waste two straight good outings from rookies. Looks like we're on our way.
Brian
I never really thought James Shields was all that good. His ball must move more than I can see on TV since we aren't hitting much hard off him.
