ThunderBolt
Not really motivated towards positive or negative emotion on this one. Hopefully, Torres goes down and starts throwing more strikes. Hopefully, Colon doesn't suck.
SoxAce
QUOTE (qwerty @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 05:27 PM) Let the b****ing begin. What a bunch of s***!!! Why is your ass continued to get robbed by Tim Marsh for the best poster award.
WCSox
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:28 PM) Hopefully, Torres goes down and starts throwing more strikes. His command wasn't great last night, and left a number of off-speed pitches up. But I like the way that he came out and attacked the hitters. This guy may have a future at the ML level. caulfield12
QUOTE (WCSox @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 05:35 PM) His command wasn't great last night, and left a number of off-speed pitches up. But I like the way that he came out and attacked the hitters. This guy may have a future at the ML level. We have to hope that he can use that cutter to deliver a reasonable facsimile of Esteban Loiaza in 2003, because the odds of Colon holding together down the stretch are about 10-15% at best. BTW, any time a White Sox rookie pitcher delivers us a "quality start" in this decade (since Buehrle/Garland), it's a HUGE cause for celebration.
