Alou even admitted later that he couldn't of caught that ball. It definitely took the Cubs' focus out of the game. That's their fault. Alex Gonazalez's glove made of stone has no emotions, so the media couldn't sensationalize it's emotion and make it out to be the bad guy. This guy would've killed one player's shot a at a perfect game. Not nearly the same thing. However, just for fun, let's say the guy had reached way over and made the catch.
