SuperSteve
QUOTE (SnB @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 01:01 PM) The baseball economist is a super interesting, but a little dull (for non econ majors). There is a book from the UK which the US release title is Soccernomics. It comes out later this fall and is about how soccer teams survive yet other businesses fail for similar practices. A few months ago I read about it on Bloomberg. Absolutely cannot wait to read it.

Brian
QUOTE (The Critic @ Aug 21, 2009 -> 08:47 PM) I'm currently reading this again. Great book. When I bought it about 5 years ago, it was a newer version with a couple more chapters. Love it. Probably could read it again if I sat down to. They could make this into a movie instead of "Moneyball".
knightni
There's a version of "Ball Four" called "Ball Five" which has more updated info after the original book was done.
