CSF
From the New York Times: July 27, 2009 Twins' RHP Slowey Says He Will Miss Rest of Season By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Filed at 6:29 p.m. ET MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Twins right-handed starter Kevin Slowey says he will likely miss the rest of the season after having surgery to fix a bone chip in his right wrist. Slowey told reporters before Monday night's game against the Chicago White Sox that the operation requires two to four months of rehab and recovery. Slowey (10-3) says he had a bone chip that was aggravated when he was hit by a line drive during a start last September. He pitched with the injury until July 3, when he left a game after three innings. He went on the disabled list the next day.
Benchwarmerjim
Juan Uribe still killing the Twins! It was last year against the Sox when Uribe lined one off Slowey, and it never really recovered I guess
