Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (BearSox @ Jul 29, 2009 -> 07:50 PM) The biggest concern with Lee is how he handles big situations. His success these past 2 years has come when the Indians sucked. I'm interested to see how he handles a lot more pressure now. Do you have some kinda personnel vendetta against Lee? I notice it seems really hard for you to just acknowledge he's a good pitcher. Before the season you (and a lot of people) dismissed him as a 1-season fluke. And you were still doing this even through May when it was pretty clear last year wasn't a fluke. Now he's getting traded to a considerably weaker league where guys like Randy Wells and Joel Pinerio are dominating and now you're questioning if he can handle pressure? Think Javy Vazquez. We will see.
DaTank
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 29, 2009 -> 04:17 PM) The Phillies got robbed blind on this one. Ultimately, I’d say it adds about to 2-4 wins this year in a division they were almost assured to win without making a move. They got robbed blind without giving up their top three prospects (Drabek, Taylor, Brown) or J.A. Happ?
witesoxfan
QUOTE (YASNY @ Jul 29, 2009 -> 11:02 PM) It is a legitimate question. Think Javy Vazquez. We will see. speaking of the devil himself, he gave up 3 ER in 7.1 IP tonight and his ERA for the season rose (from 2.98 to 3.01). He's been filthy and the Braves are only 4 out in the Wild Card.
