Winston-Salem loses 4-1 Not much positive to talk about in this one. ThunderBolt
Dayan just isn't going to look back, is he? Nice to see Tyler Flowers with his best AAA game yet.
Dizzy Sox
Viciedo after the ASB: .364/.397/.636 He's going to be good. Real good.
beautox
QUOTE (Dizzy Sox @ Jul 31, 2009 -> 09:59 PM) Viciedo after the ASB: .364/.397/.636 He's going to be good. Real good. The question then becomes can he stick at 3B? and what if JPN's speculation about a sight problem is correct, hopefully if that is the case he gets it resolved in the offseason. JPN366
QUOTE (Dizzy Sox @ Jul 31, 2009 -> 09:59 PM) Viciedo after the ASB: .364/.397/.636 He's going to be good. Real good. Leading candidate for hot player of the week next week.
ILMOU
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 31, 2009 -> 08:21 PM) Dayan just isn't going to look back, is he? Nice to see Tyler Flowers with his best AAA game yet. With the Peavy acquisition, Q returning to form, Dayan establishing consistent studliness, Flowers figuring it out at AAA, and the Tigers and Twins both losing in extra innings, THIS is an even better day than Buehrle's perfect game. I don't say that lightly.

I don't say that lightly. I know a lot of people are saying stuff like this, but I don't agree with it. It was a great day, yes. But not better than getting to watch Mark's Perfect Game. That was a thing of beauty, and the best day of being a Sox fan for me since Game 4 of the World Series. danman31
QUOTE (dasox24 @ Aug 1, 2009 -> 03:46 AM) But not better than getting to watch Mark's Perfect Game. That was a thing of beauty, and the best day of being a Sox fan for me since Game 4 of the World Series. Perfect game was cool, but division title > perfect game. Especially with the way the Sox won it.
DBAHO
Good to see Dayan really starting to establish himself at the batters box in B-Ham. If he keeps this type of pace up for the rest of the season, I'll be interested to see where the experts (BA, Minorleagueball etc.) rate him as a prospect all things being considered.
