greg775 Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Clayton was mediocre and streaky, but pitching in the NL with a majority of your starts in Petco, he could do well.... He's also young. Steve9347 Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 It was obvious after this deal that the Padres would be happy with their return. Even though we couldn't trust Clayton to go 7 on a day to day basis and Poreda was going to be a reliever in the AL Central, they should both be above average pitchers in the NL and Petco Park.
