ThunderBolt
This is going to be hard to believe (I haven't actually fully comprehended this feeling yet), but Kyle McCulloch started a game, pitched well, and won. Weird.
kevo880
is it just me or is Ely having a very quiet great season in Birmingham this year? Why doesn't he get more recognition as one of our top prospects?

witesoxfan
QUOTE (kevo880 @ Aug 4, 2009 -> 12:39 AM) is it just me or is Ely having a very quiet great season in Birmingham this year? Why doesn't he get more recognition as one of our top prospects? I would venture to guess that his stuff is very run of the mill and doesn't project to the majors. Doesn't have great peripherals either...very mediocre K rate and control. Yeah, he has an ERA under 3, but I'm pretty sure that Egbert put up better numbers at that level too, and he's nothing more than a AAAA pitcher for the Sox who wasn't able to convert to a reliever. ChiSox_Sonix
QUOTE (joejoedairy @ Aug 4, 2009 -> 01:43 AM) the most frustrating thing in this entire organization is kenny williams jr leading off and mitchell batting 6th-7th wtf? If that's the most frustrating thing in this organization I'd say we pretty much have no problems at all then

Weird. He does that once in a blue moon.
