Dick Allen
Hawk's signature strikeout call "he's gone" has turned into "he gone". He's forgetting the s just like a lovable former White Sox announcer.

I've noticed that too and I have to say, it sounds like he needs to take an English class when he says it. Who says "he gone"?
Chisoxfn
I noticed that, but I think it still works.
Harry Chappas
As long as he can judge wheather a ball will be in play or in the stands, I'll take him over most.
MurcieOne
I dunno about you guys.....but I think it's alot more funny when he goes.......he gone!
southsider2k5
You can hardly call him Harry Carrey, he still knows the players names, and doesn't show up drunk.

BridgeportHeather
There's nothing wrong with him saying "He gone!" Hawks' just appealing to the majority of Sox fans who have this "blue collar" mentality. He's awesome!!!
pearso66
I think Hawk is just trying to be hip. He is trying to appeal to a younger crowd. Personally it doesn't bother me either way, but they both sound good. Especially when he says "Gas, He Gone"
UofIChiSox
I don't care what he says, I'm just happy we got a K!
clujer420
Hawk ABSOLUTELY knows he's saying "he gone", and until Hawk starts making senile, racist comments about the opposition, don't even dare call Harry Carey. LOL, "Gas! He gawn!" for Delgado.
Guest mr1drfl
I like the whole "GAS! HE GONE!" thing. Hes an announcer, not an English teacher. Maybe hes saying "BE GONE!"
Dick Allen
I bet Hawk is a big fan of 50 cent
greg775
I like "he gone." I like Hawk. I still say he's moderately critical of the Sox when they deserve it which makes him different from all other announcers who have to be homers. I love Hawk. Of all the things I can say about Harrelson, that he is critical isn't one of them. He never will say anything bad about a player until they aren't in a Sox jersey anymore. If you want to hear guys that are fair and aren't afraid of the players, listen to Farmer and Rooney. Farmio isn't afraid of anyone on this team. Big Irish
Hawk is an awsome announcer. He brings up such great points during a game. I love watching all baseball but there are very few announcers out there that often bring things to your attention that you never thought about and that is what hawk does well.
