HeGone33
Hey everyone, I have this idea for a Sox/Cubs T-Shirt and was wondering if anyone knows where I would even start in getting the idea develped and turned into actual shirts that would sell? Thanks
dasox24
http://www.joeshirt.com/ http://www.customink.com/ Joe Shirt probably makes better shirts, but Custom Ink will allow you to create your own on their website. Whereas with Joe Shirt, you send them a basic design idea (with a picture maybe and some words) and they create something for you.
HeGone33
So if I wanted to make money off this I'd basically have to make the shirts and sell them myself? The idea would be the type of shirt you see when you are walking down Clark on the way to a Cubs game or through the parking lots at US Cellular. Check out setting up an online shop through Cafe Press.

HeGone33
Thanks for the help, I guess my next question would be since I suck at art, where could I find someone to put my idea together, so that I could submit it to somewhere like cafe press? There are several SoxTalk Photoshop jocks that would probably be interested. Take a look at some of the sharp Sox sigs to see who does work you like. Texsox
If you are using any trademarks, most reputable shops will stay away. Screen printing is easy. Walk into a shop and they will help you out all the way. Each shirt, depending on quantity and the number of different colors, will set you back about $5 to $7 each. Your screen costs and art work development will be from free to maybe $100. Ask at a local high school who does theirs.
