I think Nix stays on if Crosby doesnt nudge him. But thats a crafty play by Crosby when the guy is already safe.

And the steal was the right call.

Pods v Bailey you are praying for a bloop single or something that Nix can score on. Its highly unlikely Pods gets an extra base hit there.

had nix been called out on that, ozzie probably would have bodyslammed an ump

I don't know where he gets that rep, because Ozzie argues less than anyone in baseball it seems.

I missed the 8th inning "bad" call though. Anyone want to tell me what happened?

On Rios- No real errors, just the play that was his where Q interfered. Offensively, some numbers in his past that indcate potential. Not tearing it up at all, but not our worst performer or even remotely close since he's been here. Some hard hit balls. Maybe not a favorite, but certainly an improvement for which the Sox gave up nothing but money. Why the hatred? It's JR's money and it doesn't seem like there's anyone better on whom to spend it. Again, why the hatred?

Use this pause to our advantrage. Pitcher distracted and angry with the fact the A's tried to cheat and got caught and their manager gets the boot.. we get a hit let's go!

Well it was a good thought right?

Broadcasters on the Oakland side are b****ing like crazy about that call.

Crosby probably pushed him off.

You don't have sideways momentum sliding straight towards the bag.

100% pushed him off.
