Going down to Carbondale

I graduated in May of 2003 and have not been back since. Oh, how I miss it.

I remember sitting around on random Tuesday afternoons, drinking with my roommates and thinking...the government is actually loaning me money to do this....what a great country we live in!

Honestly, you certainly aren't living in the cultural capital of the world, but enjoy every minute of it nonetheless. No matter where you are, when you are surrounded by thousands of people of that age, fairly unsupervised and trusted to behave in a reasonably adult fashion, great times lie ahead.

Pay enough attention in class to have a clue what is going on, but enjoy the rest of what college has to offer - it's those things you will remember, not what you learned in Biology lab...
