Dye is down to .267. We has around .305 not too long ago. Any casual fan could tell you he's absolutely brutal right now but Ozzie still thinks he should bat 3rd.

Nothing like having one of your coldest hitters hit in one of the most important positions in the lineup.

My point was more along the lines that Jose when he was with the Yankees and now as well as Ramirez ability to forget how to play shortstop are odd to me as they have gone through so much mentally to get to the U.S. Then they both simply seem to lose it from time to time wher they appear ot have zero ability to play.

I apologize if I offened any and all Cubans.

I thank you for the explanation and appreciate your explanation that you appreciated their individual struggles to get here, yet wonder where their heads sometimes go.

it's a really stupid "tradition" if you ask me. I stood there in the stands and just looked at people like, why?

For us, it'd be like if the White Sox played "Dont Stop Believing" at every game since the 2005 World Series. It'd sure annoy the hell out of me.

Jermaines gonna make it real easy on KW in the offseason

We should be thankful Dye's defense hasn't been a factor in this game. I've been waiting for Boston to hit a few balls in the RF corner and have it roll around for a triple. I guess there will be plenty of opportunities for that the remaining three games.

he did the same thing when cq went down last year, maybe he is too old to play in the field the whole year

Should this season end poorly for he and the Sox he would be a focal point

Just became a complete non-factor for the entire 2nd half of the season. Most guys have career years when their contracts are up.

If it wasn't, I'd have to say that the way he's gone into the tank, mentally, since Rios got here . . . well, that sure hasn't been impressive.

He was done before Rios was picked up. This slide has been going on for a while now. If he had anything left in the tank you would see it now with the pressure to perform with Rios here. He hasnt improved at all. He is free falling.
