BigSqwert
Dye is down to .267. We has around .305 not too long ago. Any casual fan could tell you he's absolutely brutal right now but Ozzie still thinks he should bat 3rd.

southsideirish71
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 24, 2009 -> 09:40 PM) Dye is down to .267. We has around .305 not too long ago. bobryansson
QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Aug 24, 2009 -> 08:35 PM) My point was more along the lines that Jose when he was with the Yankees and now as well as Ramirez ability to forget how to play shortstop are odd to me as they have gone through so much mentally to get to the U.S. Then they both simply seem to lose it from time to time wher they appear ot have zero ability to play. I apologize if I offened any and all Cubans. I thank you for the explanation and appreciate your explanation that you appreciated their individual struggles to get here, yet wonder where their heads sometimes go. southsideirish71
Dye is now just flailing away and providing nothing. Just put Rios in there and at least have some good D out in the outfield.
Flash Tizzle
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Aug 24, 2009 -> 09:38 PM) it's a really stupid "tradition" if you ask me. I stood there in the stands and just looked at people like, why? For us, it'd be like if the White Sox played "Dont Stop Believing" at every game since the 2005 World Series. It'd sure annoy the hell out of me.

Flash Tizzle
QUOTE (nastymasty21 @ Aug 24, 2009 -> 09:43 PM) Jermaines gonna make it real easy on KW in the offseason We should be thankful Dye's defense hasn't been a factor in this game. I've been waiting for Boston to hit a few balls in the RF corner and have it roll around for a triple. I guess there will be plenty of opportunities for that the remaining three games. Watch him sign with Texas in the offseason.

SoxFan562004
This team this year has ticked me off and dissapointed me, but tonight's game made me sad. I appreciate all JD has done for this team in his career here, but he's overmatched right now, he needs a night or two off and moved out of the 3rd spot. He was done before Rios was picked up. This slide has been going on for a while now. If he had anything left in the tank you would see it now with the pressure to perform with Rios here. He hasnt improved at all. He is free falling.

fathom
Something that CQ has struggled with this year is cutting down his swing with RISP. Last year, he had a lot of clutch singles when he just served the ball into the outfield.
SoxFan562004
If they let the Count start at NYY it's a major slap in the face to Sox fans... I would rather see DJ go, he'll give up runs, but he'll throw strikes
