farmteam
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 10:29 AM) I cant believe Evan Turner came back in 4.5 weeks from a 2 fractured vertebrae. IU looked absolutely awful in that game. What was it, 14 turnovers in the first half? It's not like we were going to make much noise with Creek, but watching him not in the lineup is painful -- it's like the rest of the team forgot they are allowed to drive and crash the boards. It looked like only 1 or 2 players showed up the first half, by the time they started playing the game was over.
Heads22
QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 10:48 AM) Cameron Dollar, former assistant for Lorenzo Romar, is their head coach. No doubt in my mind that he'll be a superstar coach in college basketball in 5 years. He's got tons of connections, both good and bad if you know what I mean. So, you're saying Ames would be a great fit?

And that kid you are talking about is actually comparable to Lamar Odom, but he's much more agressive. Only reason he is that low is because he goes to Seattle. Felix
Big game for the Gophers today against Ohio State. If we want to make the tournament this year, we have to win games like these at home. I don't think we're a lock at this point, so these games are going to make or break our season.

ChiSox_Sonix
I could have guarded Austin Freeman better than the Huskies did today in the second half. jesus christ that pissed me off. Kemba Walker has been terrible, TERRIBLE, in the last 4-5 games. I hate how Calhoun refuses to play certain people even when they clearly were one of your better players today (McDaniel). Also love how the referees forgot that over the back was a foul today too.

danman31
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 02:04 PM) RockMNation is one of the best blogs on SBNation. Yes. I wrote an article on them for a Columbia magazine a year or so ago. They've gotten bigger and better since. It's a daily read for me. There's lots of stuff on there for non-Mizzou fans (like Beyond the Box Score predictions of every college football game). It's cool because most of the contributors are separated from most of the readers by one or 2 degress of separation. It's weird to read an online site and know some of the people in person for a reason other than the site.

danman31
QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 03:36 PM) COOL win on bowers dunk, thanks for the link Danman!!!! I didn't know about it but I was never really effin with sports media at Mizzou. If I had money to buy anything I would buy a bunch of beer to celebrate. That was a great finish. Taylor's 3 was sick. Denmon stepped up. I knew K State wasn't really #10. According to Wiki the record for fouls in a 40 minute game is 60. This game had 56. Super ugly. Mizzou just needs to defend home court and scrape a few wins on the road. Texas and Kansas have to go to Columbia, but those teams are on a different level from Kansas State.
