Ozzie Ball
Charlotte vs. Durham Birmingham at Chattanooga Shirek starting (he's back in the rotation now?) Will still probably only get 2-3 innings. JPN366
QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Sep 3, 2009 -> 06:02 PM) Shirek starting (he's back in the rotation now?) Will still probably only get 2-3 innings. It's probably because Matt Long is starting for Charlotte tonight. I wonder now if Johnnie Lowe will pitch at all before the end of the season. He would've gone tonight with Long going tomorrow. JPN366
Kannapolis just got their 80th win, they have the best record in the Sally League. Birmingham's on the verge of win #89. The best record in the Southern League by far. Edited September 4, 2009 by JPN366

Kenny Hates Prospects
Morel with a pair of hits including a 2B. Nathan Jones gets the win, and I'm wondering why he hadn't gotten promoted to AA. He started in Kanny, but if his control keeps improving as it has been then he'll be ready soon. Watch for this guy in ST because he's definitely getting an invite.

Kenny Hates Prospects
CJ: 3 hits, including his 44th double, bringing his average up to .301 And on the season CJ is molesting lefties, hitting .354/.386/.543 If there is a list of the most under-the-radar prospects nationally, who practically no one pays attention to but who WILL play in the Majors, CJ has got to be on it.
