First game in Seattle would be my guess. I'm kind of liking the idea of having this rotation going the last three weeks. You never know what can happen. With the way our season has gone, he'll probably screw up his arm. Why the urge to pitch him once or twice? I guess we're clinging to the hope we can sweep Detroit. You know, it's better to hope for the best, than to expect the worst. You asked why people boo certain players, it's because they don't settle and don't expect the worst. They want winning, even if the team is out of it. If you get complacent, you become like a Pirates fan and never care whether your team wins or not. Don't give up until the season's over. I'm sure there's data on this but I have no problem, at the end of a season, with going with a 6 man rotation for 2 weeks. 5 days rest is just the equivalent of an extra offday strewn in there. The Critic Posted September 14, 2009 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Yeah, unless there's some legitimate worry of re-injury if he pitches (beyond the general "anything can happen" scenario), then it makes no sense to rest him for next year.
