Jordan4life_2007
Saunders in a groove now. This Angels team is solid. If Kazmir can pitch to his talent level, they're gonna be a tough out. Edited September 12, 2009 by Jordan4life

southsideirish71
I wonder what our team would look like with Abreu as our DH, and Figgins as the leadoff hitter. Pods out of here, or being a 4th OF.
SouthsideDon48
I guess the only positives is that Abreu scored a run, which helps one of my fantasy baseball teams in the playoffs. ...and one of my opponents has Gavin Floyd, which helps me, too. SouthsideDon48
...I'm also glad I dropped Linebrink months ago and benched Dye for the past week. ugh. I also had Carlos Pena on one of my teams, and ended up replacing him with Mark Kotsay, ugh.
SouthsideDon48
YES!!!! I got Rivera on one of my fantasy teams, too, and kept him in the roster instead of Dye despite them both slumping. ...you know, it's pretty sad when I've given up on the Sox team and start rooting for my fantasy baseball players. SouthsideDon48
...And with that, the Sox lose with a sickening thud. Why why why did I stay up to watch this???

Jordan4life_2007
Well that was indeed a pathetic showing and a total waste of about 2:40 that I can never get back.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Dye and Rios in the same lineup = pitiful.
ThunderBolt
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 11:30 PM) I agree with this. Especially when you factor in where he usually hits in the order. And it's a plus to get that kinda power production from a middle infielder. I wish he was just average against RH pitching. As there's obviously more RH pitchers than LH pitchers. His defense is also a huge factor here too. He's a very good player.
caulfield12
Including the 2005 AL playoffs, the White Sox are 24-16 against the Angels. We're the only American League team during that timeframe with a winning record against them. Texas is .500 against them I think, at least according to their announcers. greg775
Well that was indeed a pathetic showing and a total waste of about 2:40 that I can never get back. Sox are road kill at this point of the season. Wow, how bad was that effort? Pop ups galore at the plate; horrible at bats up and down the order. Awful stuff.
