son of a rude
ugh, I hope JD breaks out of this slump. It would be more beneficial to play Kotsay in RF for his defense and his hitting (at the moment).

jphat007
Don't worry Rios. You soon won't be the only person hitting under .100 in September.
fathom
I have never seen a player consistently pull off the ball more than Rios has over the last month. It's absolutely sickening to watch.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (Nokona @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 03:50 PM) AJ Bench He's been throwing guys out like crazy lately. I don't know if the pitchers are holding them better or the baserunners(and I remember this from my fantasy baseball days as stolen bases seemed to really decrease the second half)are taking a little longer getting to second base. scenario
Not too often you see an inside-the-park homerun look that easy. BTW... on the replay it looked like the ball bounced off of Abreu's head. Were my eyes playing tricks on me or did it? I want him as a DH to give us a left handed presence. However he is as bad if not worse than Dye in RF.

It looked like it, but when I slowed it up, it actually bounced off his right hand.
