greg775
Ain't it nice .... to have a second baseman who can field the ball and make the routine play and the good play? ala the last play of this game? It's nice to have you on our team, Mr. Alomar.

It's nice to have you on our team, Mr. Alomar. The last play of the game was made by Jose Valentin. The Sox had the shift on Delgado. Just thought I'd clear that up. DonkeyKongerko
DJ remarked Jose and Tony have been playing inspired defense since the acquisition of Alomar. I didn't believe it til I saw it but I think Roberto really makes other infielders better. He just has that effect on them. Alomar pitched in himself with a nice play on an earlier Delgado groundout. Jordan4life_2003
Alomar has been fantastic with the glove and bat of late. I guess a change of scenery is what he needed...

I don't think anybody is listening to you. I think Hawk thought that ball was through the middle. He didn't say, "Jose makes the play..." until the ball was almost to first. greg775
That was one, nice shift. Good scouting by somebody. That said, why is Koch ruining any chance we have to rally and win tonite's game?
