Steve9347
I'd allow the Palmer deal, though the age is a joke. The Willis trade is farking ridiculous and should not happen.
rangercal
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 6, 2009 -> 12:16 AM) Willis is more valuable than Ware and wouldnt have been available at that pick (imo). Id say that you have to downgrade so youd have to select a lower mlb. They are the same rating. If you want to talk age, then I can point out the big age gaps in your trades. I never would have drafted Ware.
rangercal
f*** this s***, I would have been there on time if I would have not gave a s*** about you guys. bulls***
Steve9347
But you wouldnt have been able to draft Willis. He went #2 overall. Had he been available at my 1st pick (before yours) he'd have been a Charger. We (badger and myself) are downgrading in talent, not getting players equally rated at better positions. Just forget it. I'll keep ware, there is no way I will get fair value from him if I trade him.
rangercal
btw, I get what you're saying about willis not being available at my draft position. Just frustrating because I would have drafted a different position for sure with my pick (#12 I think?)
Soxbadger
I wasnt able to draft the guys I wanted either. There are plenty of good MLB's who you can choose. Just the other day you proposed a deal that you said you were fine with. Now you want to get arguably the best defensive player? If I had been there Willis would have been my first pick, I didnt trade for him because I felt that was unfair as I would not really have had the opportunity to select him. Steve9347
YOu have to downgrade talent when going from OLB to ILB, its no joke. s***, I'll pick up a 98 FB and offer him up for Willis!
Soxbadger
I actually went through the MLB and he is right unless he wants a guy who is 30 or older the drop is down to about an 88 for MLB. If you move Ware to MLB hed probably be some where around a 95 is my guess. If it was anyone else but Willis Id probably not care, but there are about 5 defensive guys who I felt were off limits in terms of adding and Willis is #1.
