coco1997
I've watched this kid play all season and I love what I see. Considering what an inept organization Pittsburgh is when it comes to trading away good talent, I'd say a package of Fields+Lillibridge+Wise should do the trick. Your thoughts? joeynach
As long he makes the minimum forget about it. Now as soon as he is eligible to make some serious $$ then yeah of course they will look to trade him.

Otherwise we'd prolly have to go with either Hudson/Flowers plus some combination of Danks/Shelby/Retherford/Morel

Pirates have traded away some real good young talent for sure, but I think we would be dreaming on this one. Plus what are we loking at in our own system? Danks would mean nothing to them. They are so far away that they would need ready-to-go help at five positions to even think about it. Otherwise, they're far better off going for a one-star fan draw the next few years and hoping that other things materialize around him on the roster. They need so much help elsewhere that filling even several holes ...it's not an attractive option for them. For a team like the Pirates those are exactly the kind of players that do mean something to them.

Only problem with this theory is that their current GM isn't a complete moron like Dave Littlefield was.
