winninguglyin83
heard Danks just added another single against Strasburg. Sox hitters 3 for 3 against him.
winninguglyin83
make that 4 for 4. A single by Retherford to go with his bomb.

CSF
I hope Viciedo's okay. He was in the original lineup on Tuesday, then apparently Peoria went with Green when the game started. And he hasn't been in the lineup since.
SoxAce
QUOTE (CSF @ Oct 22, 2009 -> 03:59 PM) I hope Viciedo's okay. He was in the original lineup on Tuesday, then apparently Peoria went with Green when the game started. And he hasn't been in the lineup since. Hope he is as well. Really sucks he missed out on a great test like Strasburg.
ThunderBolt
IF Danks was able to turn on a Strasburg fastball (even for a single) his wrists are better then good.

danman31
QUOTE (longshot7 @ Oct 23, 2009 -> 01:01 AM) didnt know they wear the big league jerseys - why not the Peoria team jersey? Yeah, that's interesting. Probably to make it easier for fans and scouts. The atmosphere sounded like a weekday college game, very weird for pros, even if it is fall ball. Thanks. That's quite fun seeing a guy like CJ jack one out. He looks so small out there.
NorthSideSox72
Why does CJ need a nickname? CJ stands pretty well on its own. Can't really shorten it, unless you want to call him "C". Forced nicknames are annoying. If he earns one through some funny story, then great.
RockRaines
Man, he is a midget. Any video of Danks HR?

CSF
Onto news not involving the height of CJ Retherford; both he and Danks are in the lineup (2nd & 3rd respectively). And they both grounded out in their first at-bats. Still no Viciedo.
danman31
QUOTE (CSF @ Oct 23, 2009 -> 08:43 PM) Onto news not involving the height of CJ Retherford; both he and Danks are in the lineup (2nd & 3rd respectively). And they both grounded out in their first at-bats. Still no Viciedo. Here's the live box. Currently in the 5th, both Sox guys 0-2.
CSF
Peoria so far with 1 lowly hit over 5 innings, both Danks & CJ 0-2.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 24, 2009 -> 02:16 PM) Danks ended up with 2 hits, one being a 2B and knocked in 3. Keith Law is not a fan of Jordan Danks. I don't know if he's a fan of any White Sox prospect. Ever.
flavum
http://www.mlb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?si...peswin_perwin_1 Danks and CJ playing again today. I heard Buddy Bell this morning on with Bruce Levine. He said CJ caught some in the Instructional League (I'm assuming he meant after this past regular season). He used the phrase "super sub", so who knows? Maybe he can make the team in 2010.
CSF
Peoria shut out 6-0. Danks with 2 of Peoria's 7 hits, also walked, & now batting .424. CJ went 1-3. And still no Viciedo.
