Cubano
My boy Morales with the first RBI. He has at least one RBI in all postseason games.
kjshoe04
I'm for the yankees in this. Does that make me a bad person?

RibbieRubarb
Joe Buck just said that Nick Swisher is getting his "first taste of playoff baseball this year with the Yankees". Does Joe only count the games he broadcasts as official games? I'm pretty sure Nick was in the playoffs in 2006 with Oakland and last year with us...but what do I know. He played in the ALDS and ALCS in 2006 with Oakland, you are correct sir. And last year in the ALDS with us of course. Jordan4life_2007
Angels are still alright if they can get game 2. Gotta give it to Carl Winslow, though. He was money tonight.

He was money tonight. Posada taped a picture of a cheeseburger on the inside of his glove so CC would focus better.

whitesoxfan99
River is 39 and is still absolutely filthy. I see no reason why the guy won't be able to pitch effectively until he is 45 (perhaps even longer).
whitesoxfan99
Tex, A-Rod, Matusi for the Yanks in the bottom of the 9th, tied at 2.

witesoxfan
Every year I tune in to listen to Buck and McCarver, and every year they get more boring and much dumber, respectively.
whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 17, 2009 -> 10:30 PM) Every year I tune in to listen to Buck and McCarver, and every year they get more boring and much dumber, respectively. I find it ridiculous that the best Fox and TBs can come up with is Buck and McCarver, and Chip Carey and Buck Martinez. How the hell does that happen? witesoxfan
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 17, 2009 -> 10:33 PM) I find it ridiculous that the best Fox and TBs can come up with is Buck and McCarver, and Chip Carey and Buck Martinez. How the hell does that happen? It's better than Chris Berman and Steve Phillips at the very least. They need to hire Vin Scully to do this stuff, or someone else that doesn't suck. whitesoxfan99
Wow huge call there at 2b, I know they don't usually make the SS touch the base on the double play turn but that was technically the correct call. I've never been a big fan of allowing the 2b or SS to miss the bag anyways while trying to turn the DP.
