You don't think Jack Z made a very silly move taking on the Bradley contract, undoing a lot of the good he'd done in 2009?

At least he has a philosophy, defense/pitching first, but he obviously needs Lee for that to work...and the offense has been putrid to date.

No, because he got rid of Silva's.

Got screwed out of the Sox game on FOX, but the game they put on instead has been fun to watch. 0-0 going to the 15th. Over 5 hours long, bet the Fox brass love that. Twice have relievers had to come to bat with the bases loaded.

Been listening online for the past 4 innings. Would like to watch it on MLB.tv but of course, blackout restrictions.

God, I miss Rooney.

This Mets game is agonizing, but i can't stop watching. How can you be four hit in 15 innings?

Are they ready to run Jason Bay out of NY yet?

Cards have left 18 on base.

No hitter and 6 walks? That is AJ Burnett like.

Wasn't that bad, Burnett walked 9 and hit a batter. Both Verlander and Sanchez walked 4, Doc Gooden walked 6 and only struck out 5 in his no hitter back in '96. In 1965 Jim Maloney no-hit the cubs while walking 10 and hitting a batter.

I knew Burnett was more than 6. How many pitches did he throw that game? Lots of people think that was the game that caused him to have surgery. He probably would of needed it no matter what.

Burnett threw 128 pitches--same as Jimenez today.
