witesoxfan
It is pointless to do so. So we lost to the DRays. Big f***ing deal. A lot of other teams have lost to them too, and have have gotten beaten worse then we did. So it ends our 8-game winning streak. Who gives a s***? KC and Minny both lost, so we lose no ground. The only thing that could have made today better was a Sox win. But, hey, s*** happens.

Jordan4life_2003
I agree....Some people sound like they're panicking. I'm not. We've got a good team right now and if they keep hitting will be fine....I like how we came back from 5-1 to tie the gm up...It's nice to know the team is capable of comin back as long is the pitching is decent...Which it wasn't tonight... Flash Tizzle
I agree. At first, when the game ended, I was pissed off. I thought we had chance to win when it was a tie game in the 5th. Our pitching was straight up bad. You could only blame Manuel for 2 runs, and that was after White was starting to break apart. But he has not made many (if any) horrible decisions in the last 10 games. We are 8-2 since the break. Both losses were bad pitching performances, and both games had the Sox scoring alot of runs. The decision must now be in KW's hands to go for a 5th starter. Because Manuel is doing all he can with the talent available to him. Though tomorrow is a MUST win. Detroit might of got lucky tonight, and we dont want to go into KC in a slump.

DonkeyKongerko
If we score 6 runs behind Buehrle, Colon, Garland, or Loaiza we usually win. We can rack up alot of wins like this.
Chisoxfn
Sox may of loss, but they showed spunk in this game and they've shown more and more spunk every week later in games. The offense is definately coming around and while they are hitting homers, I see them moving guys over much better and they aren't swinging for the long ball like they once were. The team still has holes, but I think a lot of them will get worked out, although another starter/reliever would be very nice.

I don't look at it that way..we had the chance to gain ground and the Royals and toons are playing crappy teams, so here as a great opportunity to get that 4 game lead even closer and move that lead on Minny to 2 1/2 games. When we win tomorrow i betting both Minny and the Royals win also...We can't gain anyground that way..and the Twins having a breeze this coming month with them playing the Tigers, Toons, O's and s*** We can't afford this s***..But we do play the Royals this coming week, lets see how we do.. doubleM23
Welcome to baseball. Even the best teams lose 60-70 times a year. Get over it.
