Flash Tizzle
Its a free viewing weekend on ESPN insider, and there's a good article on trades around the league. Included in this article from the white sox is Colon and Gordon. http://insider.espn.go.com/insider/rumorce...ntral?sport=mlb How about having Jeff Weaver as our 5th starter? Im sure he would get along with the same players that he fought 3 years ago.
1549
I would be happy with the addition of Ponson
Loaiza21
Why aren't the Sox listed in a race for any other pitchers. We need one!
Chisoxfn
Don't be shocked if the Yanks deal Weaver for almost nothing. I think the Yanks had their ridiculous offer where they wanted Cotts, but you may see something done for pretty much nothing, soley so the Yanks can add more salary. Right now, I don't see them adding a ton of salary without making a move. Its hard to say that though.

Rex Hudler
what is this love affair with weaver. has he put up the numbers that warrants this superstar attraction from other posters? he is with the yanks and look at the numbers. i don't believe his numbers warrant the love affair, LDF. Too many times a guy shows promise or has one or two good seasons and it is assumed he is a great player, even after he begins to come back to reality. Sure the potential is there with Weaver, but even his numbers with Detroit weren't that good. note: i am well aware that detroit was terrible, but i am not talking just wins and losses here. Plus the guy is a head case and a hated teammate. I am with you LDF, I would pass on Weaver. The Yankees don't trade guys without a good reason.
