Tried doing a system restore and I get a window that pops up and says System Restore was turned off and need to contact domain administrator" or something like that.

Scanned and had 2 Trojans and got rid of them. Still won't work.

Anyone?

is their a bios password on the machine?

you can always wipe the hard drive clean, reformat and re-install the OS

I don't even know where to go to turn the restore on. I may wipe it clean and re-install. Will have to find where to get that started.

Just backup your drive and re install the OS, you probably have a virus deeply embedded in your system. Its probably a registry change that you dont even know happened.

And this is why PC's suck.

Tried re-installing Windows but it gets to a point where I am suppose to select a driver yet no drive shows up to choose.

This is all my fault cuz I accidently downloaded a virus. Scanning again....

Make sure you boot up with the Windows DVD and choose custom install. If you did that and it gives you that result, it probably means that Windows can't see your HDD and you're pretty much screwed. You can either get another HDD and do a clean install on that or you can try and format your old HDD by putting it in another system as a slave drive or an external and reformatting it through Windows. That's if Windows recognizes it.
