Marky Mark
QUOTE (DABearSoX @ Dec 16, 2009 -> 01:58 PM) Make your list Well, this depends, are we counting only full time players? Or bench / Sept call ups? The guy who I honestly feel was the absolute worst, was Andy Gonzalez. To this day I am still very angry that he was playing full time while Jason Bourgeois stayed in AAA. Ridiculous.
greg775
I'll make a list eventually. Please everybody don't ruin my Christmas and say DeWeezy. He was what he was. Last guy on a roster. I would probably put Lilly at top of the list so far. He doesn't seem to be able to hit a baseball. There probalby have been 10 worst than Lilly though. The last guy on the roster also was declared the starting CF and leadoff hitter on opening day, so... also Lillibridge was what he was too, a minor leaguer who was only on the major league roster because there was nobody else around. You can't just pick and choose like that because some guys you like and some you don't. A player who sucks is a player who sucks.
TheChrisSamsa
Does worst=disappointing and frustrating? Worst can be defined by awful numbers. Disappointing is more opinion oriented, which makes making the list more fun. Edited December 16, 2009 by PlunketChris

lostfan
I wasn't able to follow the first half of this decade closely (as fate would have it I started paying attention in earnest at the beginning of 2005) so my list isn't complete, but: 1. Andy Gonzalez 2. Brent Lillibridge 3. Jerry Owens 4. DeWayne Wise 5. Brian Anderson 6. Andrew Sisco 7. Lance Broadway (don't even know if he counts really) 8. Joe Borchard ...don't feel like coming up with
Marky Mark
I refuse to accept that anyone can justify any player other than Andy Gonzalez as the worst Sox player of the decade.

GoSox05
Andy Gonzalez was really bad. I think he had a game with like 3 or 4 errors. It was really amazing, like in a bad way.

Jordan4life_2007
In no particular order: Mark Johnson, Rocky Biddle, Brian Anderson, Josh Paul, Todd Ritchie, Joe Borchard, Billy Koch, Felix Diaz, Andy Gonzalez, Toby Hall. I also have a new-found appreciation for AJ. We had some pretty horrific catchers before 2005. And I all of a sudden don't want to trade Tyler Flowers.
