I think my friend's did too today. And we're supposed to be driving to South Bend tomorrow so I hope it gets fully fixed.

That sucks. Similar thing happened to me my freshman year of college. We were supposed to drive to St. Louis for the MVC tournament and my buddies car broke down literally like at 11 o'clock the night before. I didn't have my car in Carbondale at the time so it was quite the panic for a while until we found out about the greyhound.

Ouch, luckily I didn't have anywhere specific to go today or tomorrow, but it did happen right after I volunteered to take my car down to South Padre Island for Spring Break.

You were prepared to drive a car made in 1996 over 1600 miles in 2 days?

It depends on how many miles and what kind of shape the car is in. 2 years ago, I would have taken my 1993 Camry pretty much anywhere, and sort of did...I drove from Vermillion to Bismarck quite a few times, down to Sioux City several times, up to Minneapolis, to Fargo, and I was ready to go to Denver in it too (but the plans got canceled at the last second). Now that engine is beginning to go out, I'm afraid to make a 1 hour drive.

I make the 3 hour drive from Chicago to Grand Rapids in it many times. The engine is in great shape. *knock on wood*

The problem with trips that long is, that cars that age start showing stuff like that. Before you know it, the car blows up and you've had to steal a short bus from the school of the blind in order to stop your girlfriend from watching a video tape that you accidentally mailed to her.

If you've ever worked for a large bureaucratic organization and had to coordinate with another branch of that bureaucracy, you've probably encountered the phenomenon where the person you're dealing with is obviously trying to avoid having to do any work that's outside the norm for them. Even if it's just a little bit of work.

Softball for Kap and 2K5: in this case I'm referring to the U.S. government

Other than Netflix, does anyone know where i can rent the original Tron? I've never seen it, but I feel like I should.

I've checked Amazon and iTunes and neither has it available for online rental. There is ONE blockbuster near here that even carries it, but they are rented out.

G4 plays it sometimes.

The DVD and VHS copies of it are hard to find for under $15.00.

I made a comment on Facebook about seeing a woman that was skinny and had huge tits so her bra size had to be 28DDD, and my Japanese friend (i.e. Japanese national from Japan) asked what that meant. I said it's a bra size but it's exaggerated, she said oh Japanese sizes are different, I'm a 75F. I put that in a converter and it said that's a 34DD so she asks me "is that good or bad?" I told her I don't know what Japanese men like but in America that's usually very, very good. lol.
