striker
I bet he signs a DH and I'm leaning towards Guerrero.

Springfield Soxfan
I think he wants too, is SoxFest on the same weekend as the other Chicago's teams convention this year for some odd scheduling reason. I still say we are going to be getting Delgado.

Princess Dye
Guerrero would add to a list of 5 guys or so who..if they all decided to have a near career-year, we'd be the Yankees.
GreatScott82
QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 04:30 PM) Guerrero would add to a list of 5 guys or so who..if they all decided to have a near career-year, we'd be the Yankees. You would figure if 2 out of 5 have near career years, we would still have enough pitching to win the central. .
Ozzie Ball
I don't expect a major move such as a trade for Gonzalez/Fielder, but I do think KW will sign a DH, or at least I hope he does.

flavum
I think they'll sign a catcher. If they get another bat, it'll be in early February.
striker
QUOTE (flavum @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 11:58 PM) I think they'll sign a catcher. If they get another bat, it'll be in early February. I bet they feel out Flowers in spring training and if he does well he could split time with DH/Pierzynski.
flavum
QUOTE (striker @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 06:01 PM) I bet they feel out Flowers in spring training and if he does well he could split time with DH/Pierzynski. It's possible, but they'll have to bring in a catcher or two for spring training, even if it's just non-roster invitees. I like the idea of Flowers playing everyday in Charlotte for at least a couple months. Get the ABs, work on his swing, and work on the defensive game. I would rather T-Flow in AAA starting, then in MLB playing once a week.

Real
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 11:11 PM) I would rather T-Flow in AAA starting, then in MLB playing once a week. Well he said splitting time with DH and AJ, so he would be hitting every day or nearly everyday. He just wouldn't be catching everyday The only problem with that is we wouldn't have many open lineup spots for guys like Kotsay and Jones or even Vizquel, without pulling starters out of games on a weekly basis I don't mind giving guys days off but you don't need to do it on a weekly basis
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
He's already made plenty of moves. Now he's just playing the waiting game to see the best player he can pick up for the cheapest.
iWiN4PreP
Has there been any reports on Vlad? I am very interested in Vladdy, If we can get him, I will go nuts. Does anyone not want him everyday DH?

I would NEVER trade Floyd for Dunn.
