Marlins.

Been following them since their inaugural season, still follow them and their minors and try to get to NYC when they play the Mets. I have developed legitimate rooting interests in them but it doesn't even come close to the Sox. Still, it's fun following a team in the other league and though they can be such a frustrating franchise to follow, they still continue to develop exciting young players. Oh, and the two championships werent such a bad thing either.

Plus they have Ross Gload.

The Gloader is in Philly now so the Marlins won't be nearly as good this coming season.

For me, I have always liked the A's and the Giants. The A's won me over with that 20+ game win streak several years back. They were a fun team to watch with great pitching, great defense with Miggy and Chavez on the left side and a thumper in Giambi. I don't think any of those guys were clean, but ignorance was bliss at the time. Moneyball was also a great read and got me excited to watch those guys grow and develop. As for the Giants, I have no clue why I liked them, but that park sure looks like it'd be a nice place to catch a game. I'm going to have to check it out some time.

Weird, I thought he re-signed with FLA. Boy, I think I have a new 2nd favorite team - the Phillies now have Gload and Wassermann.

Root for the Dodgers since the wife's family is friends with Torre, but always have been a fan of the Mariners and more recently the Brewers as well. Something about St. Louis and their fans that makes me not like them when they are not competing vs. the Cubs.

And as the Phillies players like to call him "DeWayne Wise Mother ****er!!!"

Also, Gloads entrance song is Harvester of Sorrow.

If he was still here, he and Paulie back to back with that song would be so awesome, the world would explode.

It used to be the Cardinals until I recently moved to St. Louis. Now, I can't stand them. It's common to hear that they have the best fans in baseball. What everyone fails to mention is that they are delusional as well. One fan is intent on convincing me that Brendan Ryan is the best shortstop in the NL. I brought up a slew of other names but apparently was being shortsighted because I wasn't taking into account defense. Another was trying to convince me that Wainwright is the best pitcher in the NL. I guess there is at least SOME argument to that, but I hated the fact that he was saying he was a true MLB ace based on one season. And no one is worse than their sports-radio hosts. One week they think the Cardinals can't live without Holliday (when there are rumors that he'll re-sign), the next he is a huge detriment to the team (when he's rumored to sign elsewhere). I have to admit, though, that I've had a hatred for the this particular host after he said before the NHL season that the Blackhawks would miss the playoffs due to losing Khabibulan and the Blues would win the division.

Point is, St. Louis fans may be loyal but it's almost to a fault. (Whew.....glad I got that rant off my chest).

Go Giants.....what's not to love about a team that has had the likes of Barry Bonds and Jeff Kent on their roster. Plus, their GM always gives out the most fiscally responsible contracts.

Not sure who you are referring to, but I stopped listening to 1380 altogether when they added Kevin Slaten.

When they upset you that much, just ask them whats taking Daryl Kile so long to get back in the starting rotation?

They have a brand new ESPN radio station on 101.1 FM filled with some of the most useless sports talk hosts I've heard. I no longer have any complaints about anyone I hear on the radio in Chicago. I didn't know how spoiled I was.

And it's the Parris and Burwell show that I'm referring to.

Oh great. Now I know I'm gonna pull that one out when I'm drunk thanks to you. Will it be worth it? Probably not. Will I share the story of me getting beat up? Sure.

Haha. Almost all of my college friends were either Cubs or Cardinals fans so I've heard too many Kile jokes to even count. We still cant go a full fantasy baseball draft without him getting mentioned or drafted.

Utah gets the Rockies games, so I enjoy watching them. I also like teams with a lot of young talent. Tampa, Arizona, etc. Other than that I like watching certain players (usually on my fantasy team).

The past few seasons I've given thought to picking up an NL team as a side-team to follow (since I subscribe to MLB.tv). I flirted with the Rockies in 07 after they swept both NY teams at home during inter-league and of course the run to Rocktober. Love Tulowitzki. I've caught a lot of Mets games the past two seasons as my friends a Mets fan and living in NY I get all their games on SNY; but I never got any yearning to become emotionally invested in them. Rooted for the Dodgers this post-season as my brother is a Dodger fan and I was cheering for Big Jim.

Teams I've kicked around following for this year: Nationals or Reds. I'm headed to DC for the Sox series so I'm leaning towards the Nasty Nats currently.
