knightni
http://mlb.fanhouse.com/2010/01/22/mets-tr...hews-jr/?synd=1 The Mets dealt relief pitcher Brian Stokes to the Los Angeles Angels for Gary Matthews Jr. and cash considerations. Reportedly, those cash considerations are quite significant. Mets beat writer Steve Popper tweeted that the (Mets) will only be on the hook for $2 million of the $23.5 million left on Matthews' contract. Yowza. Jordan4life_2007
More like he was banished to the Mets. One of the worst FA signings in recent memory.
