BigSqwert
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 21, 2012 -> 06:24 AM) Ok, I'll say it...Google Maps was better. The Yelp integration was nice, but I miss the transit map integration badly. Be careful. Y2HH will claim that your opinion is wrong and there is nothing wrong with iOS maps. It's all user error somehow.

Google maps are going to be superior for awhile since they've been doing it longer. I dont use the transit maps so I dont notice. However some of the other features in iOS6 are fairly welcome so far. This may be a small feature but I like the option of making the vibrate function different for different notifications.

Y2HH will claim that your opinion is wrong and there is nothing wrong with iOS maps. It's all user error somehow. Why would I say that when in my previous review I said Google Maps is still superior in many regards...Apple Maps is pretty much TomTom, and I wouldn't say TomTom is on the level of Google Maps, nor is Garmin. They're ok under most circumstances, though.

Windows Mobile has that ability 10 years ago. By your rational, that would make Android s***tier than Windows Mobile 4.x...when it's not. Balta1701
Well, if nothing else, this new maps software gives me a reason to consider the GS3 as my next phone (or the GS4 come February).

bmags
These are such marginal things. The intimation that there are phones that are far advanced than other phones right now is ridiculous. The speed additions will be slight, the weight will be slight, the screen definition will be slight for human eyes. The apps and functionality are nearly universal across both platforms. Most people are going to go with what they are comfortable with and have found to be reliable, since these are not people's first founds anymore. But here apparently product is some sort of extension of person, and judging by this thread it's an extension between the legs. And I find it annoying. If people who just purchased a new product can come in here and just post some of the new things they like/don't like about the product that would be a welcome change to the measuring contest it has been for especially the past few weeks.
