Spiff
That stupid f***ing rock...man, I tell ya...that is one of the most moronic "traditions" in football, and Clemson fans honestly believe its the "Most exciting 25 seconds in college football" just stupid. Well at least you guys have them at home this year, but the rest of your schedule looks pretty tough. Non-conference date with UVA, at Georgia, at Tennessee, and a home date with LSU should be your toughest ones. At least you don't have to play Alabama or Auburn. Is this Summers kid the real deal? I've heard good things about him.

Interesting little fact...we have the guy that broke Emmitt Smiths HS records coming in with Demetris Summers, and the guy that broke all of Herschel Walkers State rushing records in Daccus Truman as our fullback...and Skip has been given FULL control of the offense, Lou is only coaching the DBs...I look for pretty good things this year, but I honestly think that 2004 is gonna be the best shot for this team...we are REAL young...and Summers shouldn't be expected to be All-SEC right away, he won't even be the starter. Plus Summers has to qualify academically, I guess. So that could be an obstacle in his progress. Pinkins will still be around next year too, and looking at the depth chart and you're right, it looks like the only hit you guys will really take after this year is in the secondary, with three senior corners. Only other seniors are the TE and the LT. This is Lou's last year, though, right? Damn just talkin about college football makes me wish it started tomorrow. No,no,no....Lou said at his press conference this week that "Retirement is not on the agenda"...he really wants to win something important before he leaves the team to Skip. Now, as for Summers, he is already qualified, and in Columbia working out voluntarily. The kid is for real...1st step is the one that gives him the edge....hell, college football gets me happy...my season tickets will arrive next week while I'm in Chicago for the Royals series...I'll be happy to see those when I get back.
