justBLAZE
Rockies leading 3-0 still in the first two out. Liriano a bit wild, gave up a couple of hits including a triple to Tulo and managed to hit two batters and also the umpire both times! SoxAce
3 runs is more than plenty for Ubaldo.

Pants Rowland
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 12:28 PM) Mauer is not in the lineup today. Twins lose
Benchwarmerjim
Liriano was all right after the first inning, but against Jimenez 3 runs is a big hole Morneau has been in a slump since the Oakland series when he came down with a nasty flu bug, and Mauer must be more hurt than he is letting on because he is in a pretty big June swoon
WilliamTell
Right now Joe Mauer and Delmon Young have identical averages at .303. In a few weeks Mauer will probably be up to .325 though.
Balta1701
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 05:46 PM) Right now Joe Mauer and Delmon Young have identical averages at .303. In a few weeks Mauer will probably be up to .325 though. Well, it's not like there's a giant disparity in talent level there.
WilliamTell
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 04:51 PM) Well, it's not like there's a giant disparity in talent level there. It's only interesting because Joe Mauer barely hitting .300 seems like he's having a bad year when in fact I'd love it if a bad year was only hitting .300. Jim Thome just hit a homer.
