2nd_city_saint787
I'm gonna be opening a little pizza shop in hammond. The location im gonna be at has had many businesses fail in the 22 years ive been in hammond so im hoping this time its different. Its gonna be home to some of the best italian beef sandwiches you'll ever taste. I'm also toyin around with a bunch of other recipes to make this place last. If we got anyone in the Hammond area thats interested in more info ill gladly throw it out there.

2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Feb 3, 2010 -> 04:06 PM) Im in hegewisch almost every weekend so ill stop by some time, im always up for some new joints to eat at. what streets is this place going to be on? 175th and Columbia. It may be a drive from Hegewisch depending on what way you're coming from but trust me its gonna be worth it. I dont know if youre familiar with Gavit High School but its right down the street from there and if youre not aware of where that is its about a mile and a half away from Purdue Calumet. The pizza is gonna be great, the italian beef is gonna be the best youve ever had, im also toyin around with a seasoned grilled chicken sandwich with a tasty sauce that should be really good. Good Luck with everything thanks and thanks to anyone else who reads this thats just lurchin, Ive lived in the area where its at for all my life (albeit im only 22) and ive seen 4 or 5 different businesses fail there so im gonna with a more than likely different approach then all of them and get my name out there as im attempting to do here. SouthsideDon48
I'll try and stop in on one of the days I'm on my way to one of the casinos. Also, I recommend that you sell pizza by the slice as well, I think you can make a lot of extra money doing that if you promote it well. Especially if you do something like "$3.50 for a slice of pizza and a can of soda". You might get a lot of people getting a slice on their lunch break from work. Believe me, I have a craving for a slice of pizza once in a while, and it's hard to find places that sells pizza by the slice around here. In fact, the only places by where I work that sells pizza by the slice is Dominick's and this other place further down the road that's not that special, however, some of my co-workers drive 7 miles to this place called Anthony's pizza for their awesome pizza slices on their lunch breaks. Selling pizza by the slice can be a big money draw. Hey, among your normal full-sized pizzas, will you be serving BBQ chicken pizza and BLT pizza? If so, then I'll definitely trek over to your place and try your pizza out. *whispers*... there's this other place near me that has a veal parmesean sandwich, which is freaking orgasmically awesome! You might wanna look into "borrowing the idea".

Where ya from?? I’m right on the borderline between Griffith/Calumet Township. I’m also a student at Purdue so I really don’t have an excuse not to go. I’ll make sure to ask for you and I’ll bring some buddies as well since a good portion of them love pizza and Italian made food.

Hmmm as far as your last couple ideas go right now were starting off as a small business but once it starts takin off which i fully plan it to im gonna start adding more menu items and Ill def consider those items...A BLT pizza would be a cheap pizza so i might have that on there from the get go.
