chisoxfan09
Link http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?i...ce=MLBHeadlines Carlos Delgado had a brief Winter League comeback and went 7 for 25 (Not Bad) but has not recovered from hip surgery and still limps a bit. I think he might be fit for part time DH duties but the article points out the offers he has received are not to his liking. There was a lot of speculation on the board a few months back that KW would look at him but with Ozzie being stubborn about the DH by committee plan it does not look likely at all he will be considered. Plus his surgery and subseqent issues with recovery make him a risk. He may retire. Thoughts?? Edited February 12, 2010 by knightni
knightni
Thread edited. I appreciate your apology post 09, I will also try to be more fair in the future. . . . Delgado, if he doesn't retire, could take the year off to heal. Since he's heading towards 38, I don't think that he'd have much left in him upon his return for the Sox to consider him in 2011. Especially since Ozzie is on this "speedy DH" kick.
