Chi Town Sox
I keep 4 players (we are not losing the round we chose the player in,) just pick 4, then a regular draft. Note: I know some of these are clearly not keepers but I am just showing the whole team anyways. Doesn't seem like a team that one first in a rotisserie league last year but, it did C. Bengie Molina 1b. Adrian Gonzalez 2b. Ian Kinsler 3b. Ryan Zimmerman SS. Hanley Ramirez OF. Justin Upton OF. Nick Markakis OF. BJ Upton Util. Jayson Werth Bench. Felipe Lopez SP. Chad Billingsley SP. Justin Verlander SP. Matt Cain SP. Ryan Dempster SP. Gavin Floyd SP Tim Hudson SP. Hiroki Kuroda SP. Carlos Zambrano RP. Jonathan Broxton RP. Mariano Rivera RP. Brad Lidge RP. Juan Gutierrez (LOL, I think I got him after Lidge was struggling.) Obviously Hanley is gonna be one of them but I have a couple of question marks afterwards (young, high ceiling players.) 1st base is LOADED this year so do I pass on Gonzalez (maybe even end up getting him in the draft if everyone keeps their 1b and he might go to a high-powered offense.) Will Zimmerman have a year like last? Kinsler stay injury prone?
knightni
Ramirez Justin Upton Billingsley Cain/Verlander (flip a coin)
ZoomSlowik
Are you forced to keep a certain number of pitchers? If not, then Hanley, Kinsler and Justin Upton are no-brainers. Those are all top-3 round players that will be extremely hard to re-draft. The same can't be said of the pitchers. For the 4th player, I'd take the guy you prefer out of Cain and Verlander, with my personal preference probably being Justin.
LittleHurt05
Ramirez, J. Upton, & Kinsler for sure. I would take Verlander in a toss-up over Cain. I just don't trust Billingsley after the way he struggled at the end of last year. AGon will probably put up big numbers, but there are so many top 1B & the protection in his lineup got worse. ChWRoCk2
Hmm... Forget pitching, you take the best four available regardless in keepers, especially in this case where you don't lose picks or anything for that matter. Hanley Ramirez Ian Kinsler Justin Upton Ryan Zimmerman 3B is not as deep and I guarantee ARod, Longoria and Wright are kept, there are not many options outside of those 3 this year. Zimmerman put up just as good as stats if not better than all three and I don't see why he can't mirror last years stats. Now you can take a pitcher or two because first base is deep as well as outfield.
Chi Town Sox
So we are now choosing our keepers and losing the draft picks, I originally put in the following but can change Hanley - Round 1 Kinsler - Round 3 Zimmerman - Round 13 Justin Upton - Round 16 (chosen by someone else) I am only questioning Kinsler in Round 3 vs. Adrian Gonzalez in Round 9 (yes 9) vs Justin Verlander in Round 12 (I am kind of questioning JV because of all those innings last year and I am unsure because Pitching is pretty deep this year it seems)
