Minnesota has more excuses for their struggles though, although not finishing games is sitll a bad quality. Then there is Michigan, of course. If Illinois beats OSU, they'd be in but I don't see that happening. Like Palm, I don't see the Big ten getting more than 4 teams in with what's happened in the ACC and Big East. He has a vested interest in the RPI so he has been hammering teams with low RPIs. Also what has happened in the ACC and Big East tourneys? The Big East tourney went basically perfectly for Illinois and if GA Tech and Duke win today nothing went wrong at all in the ACC. Ga Tech was always considered ahead of Illinois by everyone so their wins while not helping Illinois didn't really hurt Illinois. Illinois was up 11 with 2 minutes left and then Hughes started tossing in lucky shots (bank shots, ridiculously high arc shots, etc.) that is what my post was referring to. I dont have confidence in Illinois being able to put two good halfs together against OSU. They got too much talent and shooting for Illinois to hold them down all day. Wisconsin missed a lot of good looks, eventually some had to fall regardless of how they were shot. Unfortunately for Wisconsin it only happened in the last 2 minutes. The freshmen are playing great today, Davis has showed up after finding his balls after Weber took him out early. Buford is a stud for OSU.
