I have Louisville upsetting Duke. Duke's played nobody toward the end of the year and won a couple of real close games in the ACC Tournament. I think Pitino and Louisville's tough schedule (notwithstanding the Big East's demise thus far this tournament) could cause the upset.

It's all about matchups and they have to beat Cal to get to that winnable matchup. I don't think they will.

I know its odd to say that Purdue was my sleeper pick, but Ive got them going to the sweet 16.

Prior to the tournament no one gave them a chance even though they are a 4 seed.

They certainly weren't going to lose to Siena. Siena isn't as good as last year and Purdue still had the best 2 players on the floor.

They got a great draw because that Siena team sucks (no idea how they even had the record they did this season,) and neither group of Aggies is overwhelming either. I still think Purdue is useless without Hummel, but this tournament is so bad depth and talentwise that they can make something happen anyways.

I think Cal's going to destroy Louisville. The Big East looks awful so far, and Cal has the outside shooting to put Louisville away. I love watching Jerome Randle play, easily one of the most underrated players in the country.

Looking good so far for my prediction. I think Cal can and will beat Duke.

I agree completely on Purdue, but many people were acting like Sienna was the favorite to beat them.

Jujuan can be great and Moore is often their best scorer. I just thought it was odd how many people were acting like Purdue had no shot.

I was one of these people who was very wrong. Now that I think about it, it wasn't like Hummel carried the team every single game, they do have tons ofother talent. I think the really putrid showing vs. Minnesota, combined with the mid-major hype machine towards Siena threw me off.

Tons of other talent is an over statement. They have 2 other great college players and a bunch of role players, most of whom aren't very good.

They played awful down the stretch, usually that is pretty good sign of things to come.

If New Mexico being a #3 seed wasn't the biggest seeding joke I've ever seen, Villanova being a #2 was. St. Mary's still has a very good team though, and I think they have a legit shot at winning this region and pulling a George Mason.

Saint Mary's hasn't had anyone that could match up with Samhan and Ben Allen. However, Baylor's Josh Lomers is 7' 280 is playing very well right now. Udoh will also cause problems inside. I think Samhan will be neutralized inside to an extent, but St. Mary's shooters could cause big problems for Baylor's 2-3 zone.
